This years West Somerset Railway Spring Steam Gala is being held on Saturday and Sunday 8-9 March and Thursday to Sunday 13-16 March. Saturday 8 March Not all the steam was on the rails, this steam lorry was running around at Williton and is seen passing between D9526 and S&D 88.

Merchant Navy pacific 35011 General Steam Navigation is at WS Restoration's Williton Works for some contract repair work. It's worth remembering that many locos operating today were in this sort of condition before restoration began. S&D 2-8-0 88 was the spare loco for the first Saturday, the spare waits at Williton as the central point in case of need.
