| 2015 A quick visit to Minehead station for lunch (lovely bacon & egg bap!) on 26 May saw a few photo opportunities. Ex GWR Hall 4-6-0 4936 Kinlet Hall which is currently based on the West Somerset was receiving attention from the fitters outside the shed - aided by another Swindon product Class 03 D2133 which was used to move the Hall as needed. The boiler of SDJR 2-8-0 88 which is currently undergoing overhaul here is visible behind them. On this visit Crompton Class 33 D6575 was at the far end of the yard in the company of Class 04 shunter D2271 and the tender from SDJR 2-8-0 88. Drewry built class 04 D2271 is stripped down while the engine is out for overhaul. On the other side of the station was ex ROF Barclay diesel shunter which is used by the PWay dept. and normally resides at Dunster. At the far end of the line of goods wagons is the tender of another steam loco which is being overhauled. In the background is a Bristol L6A bus on layover, more photos of it are on Quantock Heritage
